Today I am thankful for......
1. Another year of life. Growing. Learning. Maturing.
2. So many friends and family making me feel so special
3. Lunch out with a co-worker who is also a friend
4. An evening to dream, talk, and pray with my husband
5. A family game of Farkle per the birthday girl's request
6. My jobs: Being a mother, wife, housekeeper. Being a nurse.
7. The life and legacy of my Grandpa Keller, whom I share a birthday with. I miss him and the way he used to say my name. Lauuuuura. Someday I will see you again Grandpa.
8. Unexpected birthday presents.
9. How God uniquely designs each and every one of us for the life he has planned for us. I celebrate the life He has given me today.

Thankful List - Day 11
Today I am thankful for.......
1. A day to catch up
2. My 5 year old's independent and dramatic imagination
3. Our home
4. Being bold enough to thank a veteran in person for the service he has provided
5. Veterans. Freedom. Service.
6. The HyVee cashier that I feel like I have developed some sort of relationship with. Is this weird? I look forward to seeing her every Monday.
7. Hearing Lucy say multiple times, "Oh my word!' when she would walk out of her room because the boys were having a pillow fight.
8. My mother-in-law fixing the hem of my pants for me.
9. The smell of clean kids after a bath

Today I am thankful for......
1. The freedom to worship in public without fear of persecution
2. When God orchestrates a collision of what we are talking about in Sunday School with the 3rd graders and a worship song we sung. God of the Angel Armies:
3. Meeting up with my younger brother for the afternoon and evening while he is at conferences in Minneapolis
4. One on one time with my brother. Cannot remember the last time that has happened. Precious time to me.
5. Chipotle Carnitas Burritos and Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes
6. The many ways my husband shows his care and love for our children.

Thankful List - Day 9
Today I am thankful for.....
1. Saturday mornings for sleeping in
2. DATE NIGHT! The excitement I still feel knowing I am going on a real date with my hubby and the means to be able to go out.
3. A working washer and dryer
4. Our Just Love Coffee arriving in the mail today (Help a family that is adopting and get great coffee here.)
5. Leftovers that my family will eat
6. Kleenexes
7. A mother and father-in-law who watches our kids for us so many times.
8. Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer
9. Family

Thankful List - Day 7
Today I am thankful for.......
1. Nyquil (for myself, not the kids.)
2. Carpool for the kids activities with neighbors. My van did not leave the garage yesterday. Yippee!
3. A November birthday bash at a friend's house this morning. Friends, Pumpkin cheesecake bars, and pumpkin spice lattes (umm, she makes better lattes than me.) These are a few of my favorite things...... :)
4. Extending aforementioned bash with lunch because of slow service at the mechanic's shop. :)
5. The sunshine
6. Thursday evening dates with hubby watching Parenthood.
7. Lucy's progress in her speech. She has met her goals and is on to new challenges in speech.

Thankful List - Day 6
Today I am thankful for.....
1. The Go Fish guys:
2. Garages. Saves me from scraping snow off the van.
3. Scott Smith, our bus driver that gets my kids safely to school in this snow.
4. Tim Hawkins. Yes, I wore Yoga Pants today and I was singing this song as I put them on this morning:
5. Creative and messy hands and tables.
6. The leaders who are following the Holy Spirit's lead and are organizing this gathering: If:Gathering
7. Karen Johnson's Italian Vegetable Soup recipe. YUM!
8. Crock pots. Enough said!
9. Pumpkin Crunch.
10. Afternoon quiet/nap time.
11. Finding snow pants and boots that fit all the kids (except 1) because of hand me downs.
12. A successful cataract surgery for my mom.
13. My gifted and generous sister who crochets beautiful things and gives away her beautiful items. Here is my favorite scarf:
