Today I am thankful for.....
1. A full day at home again. Van did not leave the garage and I do like those kind of days every now and then, just to get caught up and to spend time doing whatever comes up for the day.
2. Wise people in my life who love me just as I am and share their wisdom with me when I need it most.
3. Pajama day for Izzy.
4. Books. More specifically today Archway Books
5. God placing me on earth at this appointed time, in this appointed place, for reasons I do not know fully yet, but I see glimpses of the reasons every once in a while.
6. Spiritual growth. I am most certainly not in the same place I was a year ago and I hope to be growing even more next year. I know growth comes with challenges faced in life. So I can also be thankful for....
7. Challenges which results in growth. :)
8. A better afternoon after school with a son that has been........a challenge.
9. That nasty tasting stuff for nail biting......Yes, AGAIN! Thanks to putting it on, I am once again seeing some tiny white lines on my nails. :)

Thankful List - Day 19
Today I am thankful for.....
Honestly, I am posting this late. The day was kind of a blur as are most Tuesdays. I work, I get the boys to piano, come home, eat supper, baths and bedtime, but here is what I do remember from the day for which I am thankful......
1. An awesome gift from our charge nurse for Perioperative Nurses Week. I will not mention what it is because some reading this will not approve. :)
2. An open space at our church for the girls and I to play while we wait for the boys piano lessons.
3. I know I have mentioned it before, but I am so thankful for the great people I work with and I am thankful for my job.
4. Another evening with my husband to talk and pray.

Thankful List - Day 18
Today I am thankful for.....
1. Special K Popcorn Chips. After all the pumpkin goodness I have been eating and eating, I need help.
2. Spending my Mondays with two sweet girls
3. My siblings. Each and every one of them.
4. Grace:
4. Safety for my family and friends in Indiana during some tornadoes and severe storms. Who knew in November there would be tornadoes?
5. The things that come out of Aiden's mouth that makes me laugh. Today he said, among a lot of after school chaos when it seems that all 4 of my children need me at once for a million different reasons (no I never exaggerate), "This is the problem with having 4 kids. I am only going to have 2, maybe 3 kids at the most." I know buddy, it is chaos sometimes, isn't it?
6. Last minute birthday dinner plans for my father-in-law's 60-something birthday. :)
7. My father-in-law, Joel. He is one of a kind and I wouldn't want it any other way. Our whole family is thankful for you, Joel. Happy Birthday!

Thankful List - Day 17
Today I am thankful for.....
1. Our church family.
2. An answer to prayer for a very worried mom friend.
3. Isabelle's Sunday School teachers who talked about a foundational truth in class today.
4. An excellent conversation about what Izzy learned in Sunday School and the spiritual growth I am seeing in her. She understands what sin is, that she sins, and that she needs to tell God she is sorry for her sins. She knows that Jesus died on the cross for her sins and we talked with her about Jesus being the "bridge" to God. This is foundational as she grows in her faith.
5. A fun baby shower for a new mom at church.
6. Family Scattergories game.
7. A proud fan-of-Jen-Hatmaker-mama moment. My son, during the Scattergories game, when given the letter J and asked for a famous female, he said, Jen Hatmaker. Proud moment. Atta boy, Aiden! :)
8. Singing Jesus Loves Me, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, The Wheels on the Bus, and Away in a Manger with Lucy before bed.
