Thankful List - Day 17

Today I am thankful for.....

1. Our church family.
2. An answer to prayer for a very worried mom friend.
3. Isabelle's Sunday School teachers who talked about a foundational truth in class today.
4. An excellent conversation about what Izzy learned in Sunday School and the spiritual growth I am seeing in her. She understands what sin is, that she sins, and that she needs to tell God she is sorry for her sins. She knows that Jesus died on the cross for her sins and we talked with her about Jesus being the "bridge" to God. This is foundational as she grows in her faith.
5. A fun baby shower for a new mom at church.
6. Family Scattergories game.
7. A proud fan-of-Jen-Hatmaker-mama moment. My son, during the Scattergories game, when given the letter J and asked for a famous female, he said, Jen Hatmaker. Proud moment. Atta boy, Aiden! :)
8. Singing Jesus Loves Me, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, The Wheels on the Bus, and Away in a Manger with Lucy before bed.
